Minghao Tang spent his childhood in Guangdong province, China, he enjoys exploring Cantonese cultures. In 2017, He moved to London to study fashion where he engaged himself with an abundance of cultural diversity and developed his personal style. He gained experience of fashion business through his work with independent designers and fashion houses.
Tang’s most recent collection, Nonsense Makes Sense, was developed in the final year of his BA Menswear Design course at London College of Fashion. He looks back to his childhood memories, the Hong Kong Mo Lei Tau movies and focuses on how office commuters overcome their daily challenges in areas such as social conformity and authoritarian workplaces. The collection follows a commuter’s lifestyle from day to night and provides a set of garments for them to simplify their daily routines and empower them to overcome their daily struggles.
Tang is currently studying MA pattern cutting at London College of Fashion.
